We know what you're thinking: Oh my god! Shoes? But it's actually not as random as it might initially seem: After all, Miss J did spend 18 cycles on ANTM teaching aspiring models how to walk--footwear seems like the natural next... step!
The modeling coach filled us in on his plans earlier this week at The Face premiere party (lest we forget, Naomi Campbell was once a student of his). And while he couldn't tell us everything about it--he'd apparently already promised the exclusive to Good Morning America--he seemed more than excited to spread the news:
"I'm working on shoes--I'm gon' design some shoes!" he told us. "I can't say much... but they're gonna be brilliant--absolutely brilliant." When we asked him to elaborate, he said simply, "They're going to be comfortable at many different heights." J says the line of shoes will be entirely his own as opposed to in collaboration with an already existing brand. "It's out of me," he told us, "and you're gonna love it. Trust me: Women are gonna love it."
In addition to his footwear, J says he's also working on "two other shows"--the details of which he kept hush-hush. Praise reality television!
Would you wear Miss J's shoes?
