Interesting how accessories and styling can really take an entire collection to the next level. Such was the case with Herve Leger's fall 2013 collection.
We've come to expect the expected in the past few years at Herve Leger, with the brand showcasing its iconic bandage dresses in different forms season after season. The ensembles this season though, were cool, young, and relevant.
Some of the looks included leather baseball caps paired with sexy bodycon sheaths and printed A-line dresses. When styled in that way, the look was instantly street style/blogger-worthy. Dresses accessorized with leather harnesses really elevated the overall chic factor. Bandage dresses were taken to the next level as well: They were embellished with intricately sewn beads along the torso. This could have easily been gaudy but it was tasteful and interesting.
Along with the offering of dresses, we saw cropped tops and slouchy trousers that looked both easy and breezy--though we couldn't picture anyone outside of L.A. sporting them (or anyone without a set of hard abs like the models who wore them!). Fur was used generously on coats and hoods--it was thick and lavish. But which of the Herve Leger girls needs any coat at all when these dresses keep them sizzling all night long?
