Our 10 Favorite Collections from New York Fashion Week, Fall 2013
We've wrapped another New York fashion week, and as usual, we had a really tough time choosing our 10 favorite collections. After much analysis, though, we've anointed them, in no particular order.
Drum roll, please...
The Row: The Olsen twins proved they truly are the CFDA designers of the year with this elegant and restrained fall collection.
Calvin Klein: Francisco Costa's take on military will have us all standing up straighter.
Proenza Schouler's downtown girl grows up a bit, swapping out her vibrant prints for simple couture details.
Marc Jacobs blows our minds as usual with his glam pants-optional sleep-over party.
Narciso Rodriguez continues his winning streak with another simple yet elegant collection.
Joseph Altuzarra's collection was dark, sexy, and loaded with leather and fur. Basically it's Carine Roitfeld's dream wardrobe.
Derek Lam's fall collection was the perfect blend of sportswear and minimalism.
Alexander Wang's girls came out fighting, sporting fur boxing gloves and badass boxy leather outerwear. Watch out, Balenciaga.
Prabal Gurung put a feminine twist on military for fall.
Phillip Lim gave us biker chic for the street style set.
