The Golden Globes are here! As quickly as Ryan Seacrest is shuffling them down the red carpet, we've been collecting pictures and dress credits for all of our fave celebs.
From new mamas Claire Danes and Megan Fox to some fashion risk takers (love your dress, Katharine McPhee!), click through to see all the red carpet looks from the Golden Globes.
The Academy Awards are fast approaching and all of the stars and their stylists are making the final decisions about what they'll wear on the red carpet this Sunday. Thing is, we can probably guess what they'll be wearing. Save for those few well-connected fashion-savvy darlings (Jennifer Lawrence in Dior, Anne Hathaway styled by Rachel Zoe, Naomi Watts who just always looks flawless) we'll probably see what we always see: Strapless sweet heart necklines; mermaid dresses; champagne hues, et al.
We get it--hese silhouettes and colors are universally flattering and therefore safe. But if we had our druthers we'd like to see some risks on the red carpet.
So here, we humbly submit some things we hope the stars will leave off their options list for Oscar night.
Oscars Extravaganza: We've got every angle of that Oscar red carpet covered: Documenting every gown? Check. Best and worst dressed? Got it. There were plenty of quick changes. We picked out the biggest trends of the night (dudes with long white hair--who knew). MObama made a surprise appearance, much to our delight. And don't forget the after-parties!
The Drama of Dressing Anne Hathaway: First, Anne's nipples became an Oscar night thing, spawning their own Twitter account. Then there was The Dress Switch--Anne swapped her Valentino for Prada at the last minute, reportedly to avoid matching co-star Amanda Seyfried, forcing her to publicly apologize.
Jennifer Lawrence Becomes America's Best Friend: Tripping in a couture gown in front of millions is many actresses' worst nightmare, but Jennifer Lawrence turned a negative into a positive (falling in Dior has never looked so good!). And even though she looks amazing, she then admitted to being photoshopped for the Dior ads, sealing the deal for us.
