It feels like March Madness has taken over the Internet: From Vulture's Sitcom Smackdown to Deadspin's Swearword Bracket (and of course, the real basketball one), it seems like everyone's got a case of the Madness.

Well, we here at Fashionista aren't all that into basketball--but we are really into fashion. So we figured why not throw our hat in the bracket ring with our first-ever March Madness competition!

But we're going to do it our way. We're stacking up our favorite Fall 2013 collections against each other. Will Marc Jacobs's showmanship better Derek Lam's quiet luxury? Can London's creative forces trump Paris's major luxury houses? Which show will come out on top as our favorite of the season? We're going to find out!

Here's how we arrived at our bracket:

First, we (the Fashionista team) voted on our top four shows from each major city--New York, London, Milan, and Paris. The four shows from each city that collectively got the most nominations were then seeded into slots by number of votes. Cities have been stacked against each other based on where they sit in the schedule, so that New York will compete against Milan and London against Paris.
