Karl Lagerfeld Tells Harper's Bazaar What He Would Do If He Were Invisible (Hint: It's Illegal)
You would think that by now we would stop being surprised and/or amused by the things Karl Lagerfeld says. Not so.
In this new video from Harper's Bazaar's webseries "The Comedown" with Laura Brown, he muses on everything from his latest Chanel runway to "the most beautiful and most famous cat in the world:" Choupette (duh). Highlights?
On Choupette "[Choupette] is in everybody's heart because she is the most beautiful and most famous cat in the world.[...] Her hair has to be done three times a day."
On Favorite Pieces from His Collections "I love it too [the Chanel globe miniaudiere], but there are maybe a few things I prefer. But you know, I never say I like this better than that. I'm supposed to like everything, if not I shouldn't show it."

On the Pandemonium Post-Show "I hate that. I feel in a way ridiculous. I'm a poor victim. You feel like a marionette. Then I do interviews for two and half hours in four languages."
On His Post-Show Meal "No no no no, nothing celebratory. I hate that idea. I eat the same stuff all the time. I only eat steamed vegetables, steamed fruits, and steamed fish, and nothing else. It's very healthy. [...] I'm not tempted, you know. It's divine to be beyond temptation."
On Acting "I can fake expressions you know, I'm a good actor. But I can only play one part, it's me. [...] I hate the idea of being an actor, I'm finally ready to live with myself so I don't have to play somebody else."
On What He Would Do If He Was Invisible for a Day "That is an old dream of humanity to be invisible. I'm a voyeur, but not that I need to be invisible, because I observe. What would I do? Some robbery. [laughs]"
