If you look hard enough during any fashion week, you're bound to see some signs of leopard. It might take a little digging, but it's always there. That's why we were wary of calling leopard an official "trend" during New York fashion week. Oh, it was at DKNY, and again at Diane von Furstenburg. Kate Spade, too! But that's bound to happen, right? It wasn't until London (hello Tom Ford, Burberry Prorsum) and Milan (ciao Emilio Pucci, Trussardi) came and went that we realized this was a little more than a coincidence. And then bam! First day of Paris fashion week and we already spotted the spots.
Thank goodness designers are finding plenty of ways to play with the animal print. Intarsia knits, fringe, fur, sequins, and multicolored versions are all accounted for.
