Primary Purpose: The heart of our business is our Merchandiser community; a nationwide community comprised of the next generation of creative + confident entrepreneurs. This position will develop and manage Chloe + Isabel’s social media digital strategy, overseeing and growing all social media outlets that belong to the brand, and manage their respective communities from end-to-end.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in social media to: • Strategize, develop and launch social media content and programs that are in line with business requirements • Immerse themselves in the Merchandiser community to maximize role potential • Lead program analysis to drive ongoing productivity and learning • Develop and maintain blogger partnerships to further brand awareness and development • Ensure that all programs and communications are exceptionally coordinated and executed • Become a product and industry expert, maintaining a pulse on industry competitors and developing program innovation
Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining weekly editorial content calendars posted to all social channels • Liaise between Merchandiser and/or customer community and cross functional partners to answer questions and provide best in class customer service • Remain current on social media and digital trends, as well as new technology and digital products • Manage tracking and ensure syndication of editorial impressions (digital + print) • Support Director of Acquisitions with content and ideas to help drive Merchandiser recruitment • Manage email marketing opportunities from content creation to execution with an awareness of industry-wide best practices • Deliver a monthly analytics report with learnings on how to best optimize moving forward 2
Requirements: • Strong desire to write and create content with an awareness of women’s lifestyle, fashion, current events, etc. • Fluency in analytics tools that can measure and track social media data • Ability to communicate in a way that reflects the brand position/voice and subtleties of a selling driven business • Ability to thoughtfully work across the organization, ensuring that all activities meet functional and business objectives • Comfort in working with senior leaders • Excellent grammar, attention to detail, organization and problem-solving skills • Reliably meet deadlines and work quickly when necessary • Own projects and see them through from beginning to end • Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment • Deliver clear direction and motivate others
Professional Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field • 2-3 years successful work experience in social media management and/or communications • Ability to excel in a start-up/entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision • Proven ability to work independently within budget guidelines and meet and exceed goals and deadlines
