Tom Ford is adding some new carefully considered products to his carefully considered brand. And no, it's not a line of baby clothes, sadly.
Following the success of his super luxurious women's cosmetics line, Ford must have figured his solid men's customer base wanted in on the expensive beauty regime.
So, this fall, he will launch the grooming line Tom Ford for Men, which will include a face cleanser, moisturizer, eye treatment, purifying mud mask, concealer and bronzing gel, as well as two new fragrances, WWD is reporting.
It's an interesting move--the men's grooming/cosmetics market is not nearly as developed as the women's--especially at a luxury level. With a Tom Ford lipstick ringing in at about $50, we're curious to see how interested men are in spending that kind of money on mud masks and bronzing gels. At the very least, we're sure the Scott Disicks of the world will be all over it.
We also wonder if there will be an ad campaign--perhaps with someone like Justin Timberlake as the face? We wouldn't mind seeing that plastered on billboards.
