Legendary stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele was the breakout star of last year's HBO documentary In Vogue: The Editor's Eye. She's outspoken, obsessed with fashion, hilarious, and not afraid to tell it like it is. Any opportunity to watch her do anything is one worth taking advantage of, which is why you must watch this new interview she did with The Glamourai for Juicy Couture (for StyleHaul video series StyleCore).
It may sound like an unlikely partnership, but it's not-- de Dudzeele is a big fan of the velour tracksuit--something she says will never be "demodé." Which is not so surprising when you consider the fact that she practically invented high/low in fashion--famously pairing Christian Lacroix couture with jeans on the cover of Vogue's November 1988 issue (Anna Wintour's first cover at the helm). In the below video, she praises Jennifer Lopez's signature pairing of Juicy tracksuits with expensive jewelry--something de Dudzeele like to do herself because it's real (just like J. Lo).
