The sales intern will work with the sales team to drive the business and learn the ins and outs of what an account executive does on a daily basis, perform sales activities and follow up on all aspects of customer service while promoting the brand at all times. RESPONSIBILITIES: • enter orders and check orders against hard copies, learn how to do shipping re-caps, learn how to check stock availability, run ats reports, check necessary account information in the system, issue RA’s. follow up with accounts on all customer service issues (ex. Payment) • Showroom maintenance- check in the samples, send samples to showrooms ensure the showroom looks in perfect condition, printing of line sheets and assembling of line sheets for each season

Payment) • Showroom maintenance- check in the samples, send samples to showrooms ensure the showroom looks in perfect condition, printing of line sheets and assembling of line sheets for each season • Organization of files and orders-make binders for accounts, arrange orders by date, file, send necessary information to accounts via mail (ex. Order confirmations, new account forms, etc) • Analyze weekly, monthly and EOS selling report from clients to determine best sellers by door to better understand accounts needs and capitalize on growth profitability and execute re-orders • Assisting in appointments-help the account executive with showroom appointments, aide in the preparation that goes into trade shows, attend all trade shows • Track and update regularly the status of POs, shipments, inventories and ATS; accept, input, track and follow-up on orders in the system • Coordinate preparation of showroom for market; track and manage current and past season samples; coordinate distribution of marketing, PR and other showroom samples • Partner with internal customers and colleagues including Production and Shipping to ensure timely delivery of goods • Research potential accounts and territories • Working with customers to cater to special client requests (ex. Website/ retail) • assist with social media development

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: • Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented and outgoing • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and learn quickly • excellent computer skills and proficient in all Microsoft programs

This internship begin Early to Mid August thru September/early October.
