Kate Moss may spend lots of her life naked--but that doesn't mean your cell phone should. According to The Telegraph, the neo-luddite of the fashion world (she says she'll never tweet) has just announced her latest tech-oriented career move: Designing a range of cell phone accessories for UK phone dealer Carphone Warehouse.
As per the Daily Mail, the line will feature "unique designs made out of leather and with charms attached, in [Moss's] personal style"--though, when it comes to cell phone cases, Moss's personal style seems to involve more rubber bunny ears than leather and gold (see photo).
But no matter: Moss says the need for fashion forward phone outerwear is a cause that's near and dear to her heart. "My phone's as much a part of my look as my bag or shoes, and yet there's so little choice out there," she explained. "My whole approach was to treat this as any other fashion collaboration; I was heavily involved in the design process and loved seeing my vision come to life in the final product." The Kate Moss Accessories Collection is set to launch later this summer.
And in other Kate Moss cell phone news, Page Six is reporting that the 39-year-old supermodel has been lending some much needed emotional support to phone-hurling gal pal Naomi Campbell. Following a drama-laden split with billionaire boyf Vladimir Doronin (who then began dating Campbell's The Face mentee Luo Zilin), Moss has "practically moved in" with Campbell. No word on whether Campbell had any hand in testing out Moss's phone cases' hand-to-head anti-shattering capabilities.
