Williamson PR represents men's and women's designers in the advanced contemporary and designer markets. The Digital Media / Event Coordinator will optimize and utilize digital and social media platforms to promote Fashion and Lifestyle Clients.
Qualifications • 3 + years experience with digital and social media • Strong knowledge of the fashion industry and emerging digital platforms • Solid relationships with online editors, bloggers and contributors • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Working knowledge of SEO/SEM concepts • Ability to represent and communicate on behalf of the firm • Must be highly motivated, and able to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment • Ability to research and analyze report on data, trends and competition • Create seasonal strategy reports. • BA in business or communications
RESPONSIBILITIES • Routinely research and introduce new emerging digital media platforms to agency and clients • Use social media platforms to grow and engage an online community on behalf of clients and agency • Manage and update firms and clients website/facebook/twitter/blog/tumbir in a timely fashion • Research, develop and manage content for social media platforms • Strategize and develop engaging press and community pitches for digital and social media outlets and secure solid features and placements for clients • Attend Digital Media forums, panels, and events throughout the year • Monitor and attend industry events with clients and agency • Develop seasonal creative seasonal strategies for clients and agency to generate publicity throughout the digital media industry • Track, analyze and report on social media campaigns and program metrics • Build and maintain relationships with online media bloggers/editors/personalities • Compile and maintain online media target lists
