Whether you like it or not, the '90s have returned. And not in a "you’re-a-virgin-who-can’t-drive" kind of way. No. We’re talking get-your-feet-stinky-in-a-pair-of-jellies, let's-raise-the-roof-and-do-the-Tootsie-Roll revival. Baby tees? Yes please. Under a slip dress? Don't mind if we do.

She’s All That

The Low Down: (Queue the slow and steady clap) Ladies and gentlemen, the new, not improved, but different: Laney Boggs! Your quintessential teen trope, She’s All That, told the classic narrative of geeky bumbling girl turned cool high school princess. Besides being packed with a weird roster of celebrities, hello Usher and Lil’ Kim, the film centers around one jock making a bet that he can transform one dork into the school's most popular girl. Which obviously means prom queen—duh.

Your Makeup Inspiration: Laney Boggs Quirky nerd with a bangin’ body and an even better personality. • Face: Sonia Kashuk Concealer Palette • Face: OCC Tinted Moisturizer • Lipstick: Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay in Cranberry • Eyeliner: AERIN Kajal Eyeliner • Eye shadow: Bobbi Brown Eye Palette • Blush: Marc Jacobs Shameless • Mascara: Maybelline Great Lash • Brows: Anastasia Brow Kit • A sprinkle of: Teen ambivalence

Romeo and Juliet

The Low Down: Two households, both alike in dignity, in fair Verona, where we lay our scene… Do we really have to tell you this one—really? Okay. Two families hate the shit out of each other. Just think of the worst kind of hate... now double it. But then their kids meet and fall madly in love with one another. Juliet (Claire "Homeland/Angela" Danes) and Romeo (Leonardo "model-lovin’" Dicaprio) play the star-crossed lovers and vow to be with each other. By. Any. Means. Necessary. Sadness results. If you haven’t seen this rendition, be prepared to take a week off of work so you can be utterly devastated. ‘Cause no matter how many times you watch the film, it always ends the same way.

Your Makeup Inspiration: Juliet A young girl who's obsessed with a boy. • Face: Benefit 'Hello Flawless!' Foundation • Lipstick: Mally High Shine Liquid Lipstick Pen Natural Nude • Blush: Revlon Cream Just Peachy • A sprinkle of: Tears and angst

Outfit: • Wings and a flowing white dress (like you’re going to Coachella).

What we learned: Being in love at 14 is awful and can lead to death.

Best Quote: "And when I shall die, take him and cut him up in little stars, and he will make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will fall in love with night and pay no worship to the garish sun."

The Low Down: Cheerleaders, spirit sticks, stolen moves and murder—no, scratch the last one... just wanted to make sure you were paying attention. An elite cheerleading squad realizes that they’ve been using stolen moves from an inner-city team. In order to prove that they really can "bring it on," said privileged squad must create a new routine in order to compete in the national competition. Sass and witty quips ensue.

10 Things I Hate About You

The Low Down: A twist on the Shakespearean play, "Taming of The Shrew," bickering sisters Bianca and Katarina annoy each other to no end. Bianca, the younger of the two, is the popular "pretty" one, while Katarina, "the shrew," is a no-bullshit taking gangster who digs feminist prose and catchy indie tunes. The problem? In order for younger sister Bianca to date, ol’ man hatin’ Katrina has to date, too. To quote Shakespeare, “On some real levels—shit gets real cray. The lady doth protest.” (PG4. Sonnet 7).

Your Makeup Inspiration: Katarina (But take it easy when applying your look. If you’re emulating young Katarina, the feminist, you have to keep up with socially constructed ideas of what a feminist looks like. Kidding—cake that sh*t on, or don’t wear it at all. We does what we wants.) • Face: Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream SPF 15 • Bronzer: CARGO (color depending on your skin tone) • Lipstick: NARS in Cruising • Mascara: ZuZu Luxe Mascara • A sprinkle of: Betty Freidan

What we learned: Be a badass feminist cause some cute boy will accept you anyway—whamp.

Best quote: "Romantic? Hemingway? He was an abusive, alcoholic misogynist who squandered half of his life hanging around Picasso trying to nail his leftovers."

Cruel Intentions

The Low Down: Super snotty and crazy rich, step-siblings Sebastian (Ryan "break-me-off-a-piece-of-that" Philippe) and Kathryn (Sarah Michelle "best-make-out-scene-ever" Gellar) are bored teen nightmares that reek havoc upon the Upper East Side. When they’re not busy ruining the reputations of unexpecting peers, they can be found making bets that involve ruining the reputation of unexpecting virgins. With plenty of drugs and money to keep these two higher than a 1960s socialite, the pair make a deal with each other. The wager? If Sebastian wins, he gets to make sweet love to his dear stepsister Kathryn. If Kathryn wins, she gets his prized Jaguar. Let the chaos commence.

Your Makeup Inspiration: Kathryn The mean-hearted impeccably dressed "Marcia F*cking Brady of the Upper East Side." • Face: Make Up For Ever Pan Stick Foundation • Blush: MAC in Buff • Lipstick: Bobbie Brown #4 Brown • Eyeliner: Yves Saint Laurent in Velvet Black • Eye shadow: Laura Mercier in Topaz • Mascara: Chantecaille Mascara Faux Cils • A sprinkle of: Fake smile. Dash of petulance.

Outfit:Black cardigan worn draped over the shoulders • Black slip dressBlack heelsChanel sunglasses

What we learned: It’s cool to sleep with your stepbrother, but only if you’re rich.

Best quote(s): "[pulling out her cross that doubles as a cocaine dispenser] Well I know this sounds corny, but whenever I feel the temptation of peer pressure, I turn to God and he helps me through the problem." And, "God forbid, I exude confidence and enjoy sex."
