Joe Zee is heading back to the small screen: Elle's creative director has a new TV show, which, like his last one All On the Line, will debut on the Sundance Channel, WWD is reporting.

The show, Revealing, will be a four-part special, premiering on September 20 at 10 p.m. The first installment, Revealing: Extravagance, will take a look at "how modern society has become obsessed with luxury."

There'll be some pretty interesting social experiments involved--like kitting out a suburban mom in thousands of dollars worth of designer duds, or mixing in gag items (like a rubber chicken handbag or grass-lined flip-flops) at a sample sale to see if people fall for the phony merchandise. Zee also apparently goes "undercover" at one point to investigate a ring of high-fashion thieves, dubbed the Rainbow Girls. All of which sounds like it'll make for some excellent television.

And of course, there'll be plenty of all-star cameos. According to WWD, Zee will interview Iman, Zac Posen, Narciso Rodriguez, Carolina Herrera, and Valerie Steele, among others.

The themes for the remaining three Revealing specials have yet to be revealed but Zee promises "they’ll be equally provocative and thoughtful.”

Also, it sounds like we'll be seeing more of Zee on the good ol' tube. He told the trade that he's splitting his time "50-50" between television and the magazine.
