By all accounts, I'm something of an Isabel Marant fanatic. So when I first heard about the designer's upcoming collab with H&M, I was pretty freaking stoked. And now that I've gotten an even closer look at the collection--courtesy of Harper's Bazaar's October issue (via Racked)--well, I'm even more over the moon about it.
I mean, just look at it! It has all my Marant dream items in it--from an embellished jacket, to an awesome peacoat, and pointy-toe pumps. And there's more hits to come: According to the news site, the collab, which hits stores (and, for the first time, online!) November 15, will also include tees, sweats, embroidered dresses (inspired by her fall 2012 runway), and "shaggy sweaters" made of loops of wool yarn that come both oversize and cropped.
"We did a kind of knitted 'fur' in wool, which is super cool," Marant said
From the sounds of it, the collab will live up to the hype in person too. The designer told Bazaar, "It was clear from the beginning that we didn't want to just do a cheap version of Isabel Marant, so we worked around keeping a really high level of quality in the fabrics and the manufacturing, doing things by hand."
November 15 can't come soon enough.
