This weekend while everyone was celebrating Labor Day with picnics and barbecues, Kate Bosworth was walking down the aisle in custom-made Oscar de la Renta to wed Michael Polish in Montana.
Because Bosworth is pretty much as Vogue as a bride can get, Vogue filmed part of her wedding prep for its Weddings channel--including her dress fitting, and when she tried on the finished gown for the first time.
Bosworth says she chose Oscar de la Renta because "he is the most legendary designer in my opinion, ever." She was obviously in good hands.
"Because I love minimalism and I love a clean line so much I knew that I didn't want really any embellishments so when I spoke to Oscar he loved the idea of having the drama in the back," Bosworth explains in the video. The result is nothing short of stunning: A white gown that's simple from the front, with a massive eight-foot-long, 16-foot-wide train in the back. She topped the whole look off with a cathedral-length veil and jewels from Stephen Russell.
And seriously, can we just marvel at the physical perfection that is her face? Is that Sk-II at work?
