This season, Rachel Zoe's quintessential L.A. "jet set girl" went on safari: "a traveling muse wearing her femininity with effortless confidence," said the show notes. That translated into a pretty literal take on safari dressing--there were YSL-inspired safari shirts, dresses, zebra prints, and a belted leather safari jacket.
But just because Zoe's woman is on the move, doesn't mean she's left that California vibe behind. Or that she doesn't have her feet planted firmly on the ground. The designer showed several "real-life" looks, including ripped denim shorts and pants, paired with white blazers. There were also a handful of pretty, if slightly safe, frocks that struck the right note between fancy and casual. They may not have been that exciting to look at on the runway, but we're pretty sure they'll sell well--which is probably exactly what Zoe is banking on, given the recent rumors about her clothing line.
