The Top 10 Trends from London Fashion Week

London went beyond the call of duty with Heathers references to so-bad-it's-good rebel chic.

The second stop on Fashion Month's whirlwind four-city tour, London went beyond the call of duty. This season's shows managed to pack a youthquake of sorts along with a customary, experimental punch. Confectionary colors, sinister skins, and stitched together prints kicked it all up a notch, as you'll see, when you click through our slide show of the week's most exciting trends.

Theme: Like, Totally!

Molly, Tiffany, Heather, Heather and (you guessed it) Heather all took London's runways for spring 2014. These gals--tongues placed firmly in cheek--are totally about the all things pretty, pink, and primed for a good time.

Theme: Rebel, Rebel

Spring 2014 offered up a new crop of London collections that were so unapologetically good at being bad, we couldn't help but take notice. Oil-slick finishes, cobwebby crochets, and hardcore studs were totally unstoppable.

Color: Mojito

Synthetic finishes brought to mind the crinkled luster of cellophane wrappers as well as the sterility of hazmat suits. Buff to a shine.

Print + Pattern: Jail Break

No longer relegated to prison togs, these two stripe motifs bring a confident rhythm to spring 2014's simplified silhouettes. You won't have to read between these lines--unexpected tones, intriguing textures, and vertical orientations make a beeline to the front of this pack.

Detail: Modern Magpie

The season's patchwork motifs are a bricolage of eclectic prints and textured fabrics. From sweatshirts to slip dresses, no shapes are off limits.

Styling: Neighborhood Watch

The busybody that lives next door can be oh-so-shady. Why, you ask? If you had such quirky-glam sunnies, you'd be throwin' some major shade too.

Key Item: Above and Beyond

The season's breakout must-have, the slip dress, tries on intriguingly translucent, sheer layers. See what lies beneath.

Key Item: Candy Moto

The season's newest moto-jackets drive candy-colored and playfully-printed details forward. How sweet it is!
