Cara Delevingne Gets Chased Down by a Crazed Mob at Paris Fashion Week

An alarming Paris Fashion Week incident involving a crazed paparazzi chase scene was not about Kim Kardashian or Kanye West, but model of the moment, Cara Delevingne. Watch the madness, after the jump.

Wow. We just caught wind of this alarming Paris Fashion Week video involving a crazed paparazzi chase scene, not involving Kim Kardashian or Kanye West (maybe since Yeezy was playing nice with the photogs this time?), but model of the moment Cara Delevingne.

Maybe it's because we all think we know her personally through her frequent Instagram postings, or perhaps--most definitely--the rest of the world is just as obsessed with the face-pulling, hand-sign-throwing model as we are--but this frantic chase scene is something straight out of TMZ.

The situation begins innocently enough outside of the Valentino show--celebrities including Olivia Palermo and Ciara, plus some runway models like Hanne Gaby Odiele, quietly smile their way through the obligatory photo opps. Then the buzz quickly heightens as Delevingne--in a McQ by Alexander McQueen bird-print sweatshirt and statement beanie--strolls out of the venue. The cameras immediately shift their attention onto her and all of a sudden she breaks out into a run across the courtyard. We're not sure if she thought it would be funny to hightail it out of there or if she actually felt threatened. Although, the model has voiced to Industrie magazine that the rabid attention is the most soul-sucking part of the job.

"What I find hard [about Fashion Week] is having to deal with all the people and all the crap," Cara said to Industrie (via Daily Mail). "It's when the press and fans are following me most, and it's when I work the hardest, so it's kind of like, fuck."

The model--who suffers from stress-induced psoriasis--has even gone as far to say to say that "Fashion Week is horrible." (Sounds sorta familiar.)

We can't really blame Delevingne though--the frenzy of photogs and fans surrounding her does look pretty terrifying. At one point she says, "This is too much."

Although, Delevingne did eventually stop and oblige, even making her signature tongue-sticking-out face for a few really ecstatic looking admirers. Toward the end of the video, someone in the crowd asks, "Why is it always crazy when you're here?"

"I don't understand why," the model says with a head shake. "Nobody knows... not me."

Watch the madness below (the chase starts at roughly the 1:16 mark).
