While Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were gallivanting around Paris during Fashion Week with Carine Roitfeld, it turns out that Yeezus had a trick up his sleeve the whole time—that is, engagement ring shopping at one of the city's most exclusive jewelers, Boucheron.
Last night, on his girlfriend's 33rd birthday, West proposed to Kardashian with a 15-carat diamond designed by Lorraine Schwartz. In a true romantic grand gesture, the rapper rented out San Francisco's AT&T Park for the evening, where a 50-piece orchestra played Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful" while he asked for Kardashian's hand.
We're sure this wedding is going to be one for the books (and hopefully last longer than 72 days), but many questions still remain: Has West placed a phone call to one of his designer pals—we're looking at you, Riccardo—in regards to designing his future wife's wedding dress? Will Yeezus wear leather jogging pants during the ceremony? And, perhaps most importantly, will Nori be the flower girl? If so, will Alber Elbaz or Alexander Wang make her a miniature ensemble for the big day?
We wish Kimye and baby North the best of luck!
UPDATE: Here's a brief video from the proposal. Note the jumbotron.
