Those of us who don't travel to Europe for the international shows each season can attest that Fashion Week FOMO is a real thing, especially since our editor friends partake in some epic shopping trips while they're abroad. We recently heard some news that helped to soften the blow: One of our favorite European retailers, H&M's sister brand COS, will open an outpost in NYC in 2014, but it turns out that we'll be able to shop the label stateside as early as next week.
WWD is reporting that COS is setting up a month-long pop-up shop at Opening Ceremony on Howard Street in Soho, as well as on openingceremony.us. This isn't the first time that the retailer has served as a European label's home away from home--OC was the only place in New York that you could purchase pieces from Topshop before the British chain opened its flagship store on Broadway.
We were counting on having until 2014 to save up for our first spending spree at COS when it opens its first U.S. store at 129 Spring Street, but if anything on Earth warrants an unexpected splurge, it's this.
