Squee! The FashionKids Instagram Turns Toddlers into Style Icons

Too. Much. Cute.

In the age of social media, you're never too young to be a style star.

Thanks to the Internet, we've had outfit envy of the under-10 set for quite some time, from the oft-controversial French beauty Thylane Blondeau, to Alexander Wang's niece Aila, to Alonso Mateo, the dapper five-year-old from Laguna Beach with over 58,000 Instagram followers and a closet filled with Gucci and Tom Ford. Add celebrity offspring like Harper Beckham and North West to the mix, and you might say our fixation is bordering on creepy.

Now, The Daily Mail just brought a meticulously curated Instagram account to our attention that features fashionable children from across the globe. FashionKids, which is based in Brazil and boasts a whopping 1.3 million followers, posts inspirational (and adorable) examples of children's fashion. In order to keep the community friendly, the account's terms of use are taken very seriously—especially in regards to the comments section—and according to the FashionKids website, the goal is "to create a healthy entertainment to discuss and provide inspiration for children’s fashion worldwide."

The account and site to accompany it were founded by Wilson Dorigon in February 2012, who receives over 400 photo submissions a day—95% of which are sent in by proud stylists parents— and all entries are subject to a "rigorous" selection process.
