Just last week, we were wondering if Sky Ferreira's recent run-in with the law would ruin her lucrative modeling career. Though the singer admits she has lost some contracts on account of her drug-related arrest, it looks like there will be plenty more to take their places.
On the heels of the release of Ferreira's album Night Time, My Time, Parisian fashion and lifestyle brand Maison Kitsuné just unveiled its Spring 2014 campaign, starring the singer in a series of looks shot by Henrik Purienne.
In a statement sent out to press, Gildas Loaëc, co-founder of Maison Kitsuné, wrote, "We are thrilled to work with Sky this season. We tend to stray from the conventional and lead with bold creativity, which Sky embodies perfectly." Since Kitsuné isn't quite a commercial label and has lots of indie cred both in Europe and stateside, Ferreira -- even with her blemished legal record -- is a good fit for the brand.
While this campaign was likely shot well before Ferreira was arrested for Ecstasy possession in September, we admire Kitsuné for sticking to its guns and following through with her contract even in the face of controversy.
