This weekend, Beyoncé proved that she is a high-low shopper -- just like us!
On Friday night in Tewksbury, Mass., Queen Bey unexpectedly dropped by the local Walmart to do some holiday shopping before her tour stop in Boston, picking up some toys for Blue Ivy and, naturally, a copy of her new album. You may have heard that Target refused to stock Beyoncé after the singer gave iTunes a week-long digital exclusive, which might be the motivation behind her Walmart visit. But Beyoncé also made sure to spread the Christmas spirit while she was there: She treated every customer in the store (750 of them, to be exact) to $50 towards their purchases, for a grand total of $37,500 in gifts. Basically, Beyoncé is Santa, y'all.
Then, on Saturday night in New York City, she was back to her luxury labels, wearing a black mosaic dress and matching thigh-high boots by Tom Ford to the Beyoncé premiere party at the School of Visual Arts Theater. The look is from Ford's Spring 2014 collection, and while it's not yet available to buy, we're betting that the ensemble falls somewhere in the $5K to $10K range. Since Beyoncé modeled in Ford's Spring 2011 show and her hubby Jay Z dedicated a song to him on his most recent album, we're pretty sure she didn't have to shell out that dough, but that's beside the point.
We love when Bey gets down with the people -- she filmed her video for "XO" at Coney Island while the theme park was open for business -- but we'll never tire of seeing her in head-to-toe Tom Ford.
