Bird is hiring an assistant manager at its Cobble Hill location. Duties will include assisting to achieve sales and growth objectives, overseeing and delivering excellent customer service, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate will be interested in and knowledgeable about fashion and have at least two years of experience in a high-end, luxury or independent boutique environment. Requirements also include familiarity with the Bird brand, excellent communication and problem solving skills, creative, resourceful, thorough, detail-oriented, analytical, and organized.
We are also hiring full and part time sales associates for our stores with potential for growth within the company. Candidates should have relevant retail experience, familiarity with the Bird brand and aesthetic and great customer service skills.
Bird is also hiring e-commerce and buying interns. Applicants for both positions must have at least two full weekdays available. Buying interns must have an excellent knowledge of fashion terms, intermediate excel spreadsheet skills, familiarity with basic retail math, and be extremely detail oriented. E-commerce interns will gain experience with order fulfillment, gathering product information, and customer service. There is also potential for contributing to social media and photo shoots. Familiarity with Adobe suite, Wordpress, various social media outlets and experience with customer service preferred.
