We are looking for a Sales Manager in our New York City office. This person will be responsible for delivering the sales through meeting monthly, quarterly, seasonal and annual ship goals.
Main Duties § Manage day-to-day operations in the office § Daily correspondence with Paris office § Independently opens and closes showroom § Source and manages interns § Assist with telephone inquiries and follow through thoroughly § Provide exceptional customer service to all active and prospective clients § Responsible for tracking and shipping all UPS and Mail § Anticipate supply needs & keep necessary items/supplies in stock for the office § Manage deliveries and inventory of collections § Maintain a visually appealing showroom while working to optimize the inventory processes to increase overall showroom efficiency § Remain knowledgeable and up to date on all client records and contact info § Develop partnerships with all accounts in order to grow customer base § Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal/external customers and handle situations with confidence, tact and resourcefulness § Preparing collections for market § Book, confirm appointments for upcoming market week § Conduct effective presentations, identifying status of individual accounts and proposing recommendations to improve sales. Follow up with samples for styling, fit and quality approval, offer price and delivery date quotations and check until goods arrive at customer’s warehouse § Sell & present collections to take orders in the showroom and during market § Be fully responsible to manage & handle tradeshow set up and sales independently.
Requirements § BA Degree, preferably related to Business or Retail. § 3+ years experience sales or showroom management. § Fluent in Microsoft Office. § Background in Accessories preferred. § Excellent networking and sales skills. § Experience in developing and growing sales. § Passion for trend and style, a true understanding of fashion and function dynamically. § Position requires strong organizational and admin skills. § Great follow through with customers, corporate, all levels. § Attention to detail. all paperwork, orders must be 100% accurate to provide the best service. § Proactive thinking, ability to identify opportunities and jump in when needed. § Creative ability – must be able to help customers visualize assortments, adjust product designs to meet major customers when necessary. § Must be a self-starter, self-managed, self-motivated individual who can multi-task. § Be rigorous in all affairs.

You should be capable to assist with our sales campaign. This entails receiving the new collection, pricing it out, editing, and helping during market weeks. This includes maintaining the showroom and assisting with admin work in the back office.
