Prada Cast a Woman of Color Yet Again in Its Latest Ad Campaign

Not only does Cindy Bruna make an appearance in the brand's Spring 2014 images, but rumor has it Malaika Firth is coming back too.

One of spring's most memorable collections now has an ad campaign to go along with it.

Prada just released a preview of its new campaign, shot by Steven Meisel, which features a gang of female models in a number of the collection's loudest looks. The fur coat and dress emblazoned with a young woman's face, striped leg warmers and those Teva-esque sandals -- they're all there.

What caught our eye first, though, is that Prada cast a woman of color in the campaign, specifically Cindy Bruna, who you might recognize from the runway at this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. This isn't a common occurrence for the brand: For the Fall 2013 campaign, Prada cast 18-year-old black model Malaika Firth -- the first black model to appear in a Prada ad since Naomi Campbell in 1994. Firth, according to The Fashion Spot, is also featured in the full Spring 2014 campaign, which will debut in the coming weeks.
