7 Temperley Pre-Fall Looks That Were Made for Kate Middleton

What will the Duchess of Cambridge, formerly Kate Middleton, be wearing six months from now? Alice Temperley's pre-fall look books give us some clues.

British designer Alice Temperley released Pre-Fall 2014 look books for her Temperley London label and its contemporary off-shoot, Alice by Temperley, on Tuesday. The look books not only give us insight into the styles that will hit Shopbop and Net-a-Porter in the coming months -- as well as hints of the designer's direction for Fall 2014 -- but also a preview of what the closely watched Duchess of Cambridge, formerly Kate Middleton, will wear come late summer and early fall.

Alice Temperley is one of the Duchess's go-to designers, alongside Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham. In the last month alone, she sported a black coat with a jacquard diamond check design from Temperley London, and a knee-length Temperley London black dress with a crocheted hem and elbow-length sleeves. Both items sold out online within hours. (For more Middleton x Temperley looks, see here, here and here.)

Middleton rarely wears separates -- unless it's a pair of jeans and a sweater for a grocery store run -- and so most of Temperley's Pre-Fall collection won't be making it into the Duchess's wardrobe. There were a few standout items -- namely dresses and a coat -- that do seem like good candidates, however.
