It's no secret that Rihanna and Balmain's Olivier Rousteing have long enjoyed a symbiotic relationship. The former has worn the latter's designs numerous times both on- and offstage. They've even shared the occasional Instagram frame. And of course, most recently, Rihanna was cast as the face of Balmain's Spring 2014 campaign. And as it turns out, the fact that Rihanna looks incredible in the collection is no coincidence -- or, at least, not solely due to her ability to look incredible in anything.

In one of two just-released behind the scenes videos from the campaign shoot, Rousteing declares his love for Rihanna, even admitting that he essentially designed the Spring 2014 collection around her, inspired by a visit she had made to his studio last year.

It's not the first time a designer has been so taken with the pop singer that he has created clothes in her image. Tom Ford said his zany Fall 2013 collection was inspired by RiRi -- specifically, he saw her wearing it to her lawyer's office while hungover. It makes sense (well not necessarily the hungover lawyer part): Rihanna looks great in clothes, particularly in bold, risky getups that few others have the confidence or carefree spirit to pull off.

Watch Rihanna herself exhibit that very spirit while browsing outfits with her stylist Mel Ottenberg and posing for Inez and Vinoodh in the below videos.
