It seems as if fashion is really trying to make football happen this season. First, Vogue published a Super Bowl-themed editorial -- starring Sports Illustrated favorite Kate Upton -- in its February issue, and now even more models are getting into the game.
In the new #DKNYDRAFT campaign, which will play on Taxi TV in NYC beginning Tuesday through Feb. 3, fashion meets football just in time for the Super Bowl's coming to New Jersey. The clip features DKNY's Spring 2014 campaign stars Jourdan Dunn, Eliza Cummings and Cara Delevingne -- who has one hell of an impressive game face -- tossing a pigskin around Times Square... in heels no less. The ladies are all decked out in DKNY logos, and are joined at the end by ASAP Rocky, whose song "Fashion Killa" -- which name drops Donna Karan along with 20+ other designers -- serves as the video's soundtrack.
Also, teaching three British ladies to play the American sport was probably quite the spectacle, don't you think? Behind the scenes at the shoot, Delevingne said, "I am happy that there were helmets involved! If any football team is looking for a new quarterback, they know how to get in touch."
Even if you're not particularly pumped for the Super Bowl on Sunday, this is one game we think you can get behind.
