Chloé Shows Standout Coats for Pre-Fall 2014

Let's call this collection "polar vortex chic."

Chloé debuted its Pre-Fall 2014 collection to New York editors earlier this week, just as that polar vortex was rolling in. Maybe it's because we had subzero temperatures on the brain, but while we watched the '60s-inspired collection walk by, we could not keep our eyes off the coats. Designer Clare Waight Keller showed stellar outerwear in a mix of proportions -- cropped, nipped at the waist, oversized and fluffy -- paired with silk skirts and scarf blouses that were romantic in that signature Chloé way.

During the presentation, the real crowd pleaser was a fully reversible shearling blanket coat with striped lining (shown top right), and if it's half as warm as it is statement-making, it will surely be a top seller. If you're looking for a luxurious way to keep warm, Chloé will have you covered.
