Karen Walker Casts Kenyan Artisans in Awesome Spring Eyewear Campaign

As usual, the models somehow manage to outshine the (still amazing) eyewear.

Season after season, Karen Walker's eyewear campaigns are really the best. In recent look books, the New Zealand-based designer has featured geriatric street style stars, adorable children aged between three and five-years-old and albino models (her sunglasses have an impressively high factor of UV protection). But Walker's Spring 2014 campaign just might be her greatest yet.

For this collection, the label teamed up with the United Nations' ITC Ethical Fashion Initiative, through which the designer was connected with a group of Kenyan artisans, who together produced a unique line of pouches (seen right) that will be included with each pair of frames purchased. If you're feeling fancy, embellished pouches will be sold on their own as well. They'll be available in stores Feb. 3.

Walker didn't stop at simply collaborating with the Kenyan craftsmen and women: She cast them in her campaign in an amazing tribute to African culture.
