She's been away from the modeling scene for a while, but in her heyday -- which was only about six years ago -- wherever Agyness Deyn went, everyone seemed to follow. From being one of the first high-fashion ladies to shave her head to inspiring Henry Holland to create best-selling T-shirts that bore her name to covering nearly every magazine imaginable, she was (and still is) a purveyor of cool. So, it seems only natural that she is designing a clothing line of her own.
This isn't her first foray into the world of design -- she's collaborated with Dr. Martens in the past -- but her solo debut will arrive in stores in time for spring. Deyn's upcoming collection, called Title A, includes easy separates with that rock-n-roll twist that Aggy is known for.
We were sent over a preview of the spring line this morning, and in addition to relaxed tees, velvet blouses and dresses with a bit of shiny brocade, there are oversized coats, menswear-inspired trousers and classic dress shirts that evoke the style of Deyn's British roots. The collection will be sold at a contemporary price point, and will be available for purchase on the Title A website.
Read on for a Polaroid preview of Deyn's first collection.
