It's no secret that Donatella Versace is a huge music fan -- she champions both emerging talents in the music world, like Angel Haze and Grimes, and established ones -- so it seems fitting that Beyoncé called upon the iconic designer to create a custom series of Atelier Versace pieces for the European leg of her Mrs. Carter tour.
Queen Bey debuted two Versace ensembles during her performance in Glasgow over the weekend. One opened the show -- a white and silver sequin and metal minidress -- and the other, a black leather top and skirt paired with a chainmail dress made from Swarovski crystals, was worn during the finale. Versace was also behind Lady Gaga's costumes for the Born This Way Ball world tour, so this isn't the first time that the Italian label has unveiled spectacular designs for the stage instead of the runway.
