Job Summary: In response to the company’s growth, Consuela is entering into a re-branding that will involve the development of a comprehensive marketing strategy that will share our brand, story and mission directly with our expanding consumer audience in addition to our retailers and wholesale sales channels. Based on a clear understanding of the direction and mission of the company, the Marketing Manager will strategize, create, and implement a complete and cohesive messaging strategy including print, web, social media, guerilla campaigns, customer events, videos, photo shoots, etc.
The Marketing Manager will source and oversee all internal and external design resources used in the generation of deliverables, and will create and manage a comprehensive editorial calendar that will incorporate all of the marketing materials delivery dates in coordination with product launches, trade shows, and other sales channel events. The Marketing Manager will identify metrics and goals for these initiatives and measure and report the results of the program related to sales, customer base expansion and growth. Expanding the voice and face of Consuela and evangelizing the Consuela story and message through the innovative use of creative tools and technology are key goals for this role.
Skills: - Approximately 6+ years of business experience with 2+ years in specific industry related roles - Proven success in developing and implementing marketing, PR and communications campaigns, branding campaigns, social media campaigns, and product launches - Strong organizational and project/team management skills, experience managing design personnel and resources - Excellent writing skills; both creatively and grammatically, and ability to reach and write for specific mediums and audiences - Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines - Proven ability to combine conceptual, creative and strategic thinking with tactical execution - A strong desire to network - The desire to be part of a fast-growing team and have fun!
Responsibilities: - Strategize and create successful marketing, social media & PR campaigns that include innovative promotional ideas and groundbreaking approaches to marketing and communicating the Consuela story and mission - Manage design development of digital content for new site including videos and photography - Evaluate effectiveness of media efforts and make recommendations to improve content and page productivity and to meet return on investment objectives - Understand and develop the voice of Consuela which is not only through written word, but through the creative ideas and ways in which we communicate with and touch the lives of others through our company mission, vision and goals - Manage fashion photo shoots, and produce photography library - Manage development of press releases and press kits; identify and secure product placement and publicity in appropriate publications - Plan customer promotions and sales events, executing innovative ideas to develop product buzz - Coordinate naming and descriptions of new products each season - Coordinate naming and descriptions of new products each season - Develop strategy and implement programs related to Consuela Culture Club, which is the philanthropic arm of the brand - Coordinate all trade shows and markets attended by Consuela; manage show schedules, production of all marketing and sales materials, as well as promoting these events -Ability to travel and work trade shows -Report, measure and analyze effectiveness of marketing initiatives
