About 35 minutes after Jeremy Scott's fall 2014 show was scheduled to begin, the lights dimmed and power publicist Kelly Cutrone ushered in the final surprise guest, none other than Oscar-nominated Jared Leto, a friend of the designer. Instead of quietly taking his front row seat, he raised his arms and shouted, "My apologies!" to the folks he'd kept waiting, followed up with an incredibly charming, "You all look lovely." Then, the show could begin. (Sidenote: His ombré waves look just as good in person.)
This season, the always wacky Scott stuck to a very literal sports theme, and models marched down the runway to Queen's classic arena anthem, "We Will Rock You." The looks, which were styled by the one and only Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele and with shoes Scott designed for Adidas, included references to a wide array of sports memorabilia, from jerseys to football pads to deconstructed basketballs to tube socks. The collection also featured a handful of monster sweaters that came from Scott's collaboration with Madballs, the zany toys that were a craze in the '80s.
To top off all of the fun, supermodel in the making Gigi Hadid, who just landed a CR Fashion Book cover and a spot in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, opened and closed the show. Score!
