Jennifer Lawrence Gets Androgynous in New Dior Campaign

And she wishes Dior would start making its gowns "more accessible for stairs."

As much as we've adored the partnership between Hollywood golden girl Jennifer Lawrence and iconic French fashion house Dior, we have to admit that things have gotten a little... predictable. You'd think there was a stipulation in J.Law's contract forbidding her from wearing dresses with straps, for god's sake. (I mean... is there?)

Suffice it to say, we're pretty pleased with Lawrence's latest Dior campaign, her third in a deal that's reportedly been extended for another three years. Photographed by Patrick Demarchelier, the shots signal the ad debut of the actress's somewhat androgynous, mussed-up pixie cut (she made the chop back in November). The look is made complete with some seriously subtle makeup -- there's not a trace of mascara in sight -- a tailored jacket and a few glorious Miss Dior bags thrown in for good measure. That whole tousled thing is definitely working for Lawrence.

Yes, the ads are still really soft and lovely. And yes, there's at least one strapless dress involved. But it's the little things, people! Rome wasn't built in a day, etc., etc.

Of course, no post about Jennifer Lawrence and Dior would be complete without a mention of her fateful acceptance speech fall at the 2013 Academy Awards. "I do obviously have very special memories of the [Dior] dress I wore to the Oscars... some fun, some... not!" Lawrence says with a laugh in a brief campaign video, below. "They need to make it more accessible for stairs, in my opinion."
