KORET new york, a luxury handbag company in New York City, is seeking a PR & Social Media Intern to assist and work directly with the Manager of Media Relations. This will be a very hands-on and great learning experience with opportunity to dabble in everything that goes into working in-house PR at a emerging fashion company i.e. pitching relevant trends to the media, helping with event planning, implementing new social media campaigns, assisting Manager of Media Relations in managing celebrity social media schedule. Also, expect some mundane tasks like errand running and sample tracking.

About the job: PR: · Support w/ planning for PR Events/Press Previews and photoshoots. · Sample Tracking · Fulfill product requests to fashion publications and other media outlets. · Keep inventory up-to-date including photographing new products and maintaining proper crediting.

Social Media · Curating content on all platforms--Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest, Facebook · Pitching & researching i.e. new ideas and social media campaigns, new/upcoming artists, musicians and industry tastemakers to follow. · Assist Manager of Media Relations with managing celebrity social media schedule. · Pulling and organizing proper imagery for Instagram and Tumblr that's "on brand." This includes photo-taking. · Coordinating features and potential interviews for blog with new artists/bloggers.
