By some sort of Christmas miracle -- rather, a very well-timed restock at Net-a-Porter -- I was able to score one of Mansur Gavriel's lusted-after bucket bags back in December. For the uninitiated, the New York-based brand has amassed a cult following among the fashion crowd since launching in 2012, counting Eva Chen, Garance Doré and Miranda Kerr as fans. Arguably the best thing about the line is its accessible price point, with many of its options coming in under $500.
While browsing the selection of bags up for pre-order on Moda Operandi, we noticed that a couple of the totes and bucket bags are more expensive than seasons past. But fear not: The brand tells us it is not raising its prices. Instead, Mansur Gavriel is introducing a new, luxe calf leather for fall. It's not only super soft (like ballet slippers!), it also comes in bright colors, like red (seen above) and royal blue. The bags in the label's original vegetable tanned leather collection will be offered at the standard price, while the calf leather pieces run from $610 to $695.
Now all you have to do is grab one of them before they sell out. For ways to get your hands on one of the coveted bags for spring or fall, consult our comprehensive guide.
