If there's one thing London Fashion Week has shown us we need thus far this season, it's a boxy leather jacket with a fur-trimmed collar. There were yet more at Richard Nicoll, this time in shades of teal.
Continuing the young, effortless schoolgirl vibe we've seen so often this week, Nicoll teamed sporty short skirts with rubber soled flats (almost a vans/loafer hybrid). In a similar vein to his menswear show in January, the look was essentially understated, ever-so-slightly athletic cool with a tailored twist.
Liquid blue lamé shirts and sparkling lurex-tweed mix coats paved the party path for the finale gold dresses. Indented dots on these last few looks were as close as he got to pattern or print, which allowed the tailoring and color to take centerstage.
