As with J.Crew, the exciting thing about Topshop's Unique show each season -- besides its star-studded and wonderfully incongruous front row -- is that the clothes presented are ones we may actually want (and will be able to easily afford) to buy.

As with J.Crew, the exciting thing about Topshop's Unique show each season -- besides its star-studded and wonderfully incongruous front row, and that it's held in the Tate Modern -- is that the clothes presented are ones we may actually want (and can easily afford) to buy.

On our wish list for next fall: a dark turquoise jacket decorated with green faux fur (top far right); a pencil skirt in warm brown calf hair; knee-high suede boots in gray and violet (far right); a black off-the-shoulder, slim-waisted dress (center); and ankle boots folded sharply above the heel (second to left and second to right).
