While fashion month seems like a dizzying four weeks for journalists and buyers, it's perhaps most exhausting for the models. On top of all the travel, they face early call times and late-night fittings -- so sleep is but a distant memory for many of these women.
So which model walked the most shows (and deserves the biggest vacation)? There were two, actually: With 63 shows a piece, Nastya Sten and Manuela Frey tied for first place. In third place was Josephine Le Tutour, who walked 60 shows. Le Tutour happened to hold the second rank last season, but more impressive was that she nearly held onto her spot this season despite skipping the London shows altogether.
Interestingly, all three models are repped by The Society Management -- which by, all appearances, killed it this season. The Society reps perhaps the biggest model story to come out of the shows: The rise of Kendall Jenner, who walked sparingly but in major shows like Marc Jacobs, Givenchy and Chanel. Another model the agency represents, Natalie Westling, walked selectively and won decent coverage thanks to her shocking red hair (and equally charming personality -- we're kind of besotted with her here). The Society's Caroline Trentini also made her official post-pregnancy comeback, starting with the runways at Alexander Wang and Balenciaga.
We hope the agency's beautiful and talented women are somewhere on a beach right now taking a well-deserved nap.
