Last year, right around this time (read: April Fool's Day) we squealed over Warby Parker's alleged new line of glasses and monocles for pups, appropriately called Warby Barker. Just when we thought that cuteness couldn't be topped, American Eagle Outfitters goes and teases the "first-ever matching clothing line for dogs and their owners," American Beagle Outfitters, or ABO. Needless to say, the look book -- featuring canines of all breeds wearing swimsuits, overalls, sunglasses and beanies -- is freaking adorable.
According to a press release from the retailer, American Beagle won't hit stores until later this spring, but all shoppers who sign up for the waiting list will not only receive 20% off of their purchases, but a dollar from each order will be donated to the ASPCA, with a target goal of $100,000 going to the charity. Regardless of whether or not this line will really end up on shelves (let's be real, "slimming doggy jeggings" sound a little fishy to us), you can dress up your pup and share a photo using the hashtag #AEOStyle for a chance to be featured on the website.
Click through for the full ABO lookbook, and if you're feeling the urge to get ahead on your spring shopping, we suggest you head to American Eagle. It's for a good cause, after all. Save the puppies!
