Back in December, at Chanel's Métiers d’Art show in Dallas, the label announced that Kristen Stewart -- the current face of Balenciaga's Florabotanica fragrance campaign -- would star in the ads for the Paris‐Dallas collection, set to debut this spring.
The French brand's Texas-sized runway show made headlines for the racially insensitive Native American headdresses included with its finale looks, but the collection also featured some very wearable, Southwest-inspired pieces like cowboy boots, leather jackets and lots of denim. Basically, things we'd imagine K. Stew wearing on her off-duty days.
Thanks to Instagram, we now have a preview of Stewart's campaign, which is officially due out in May and was shot by Karl Lagerfeld himself. As usual, the actress doesn't crack much of a smile, but the laid back looks she's styled in -- especially the tied-up tees and cool jackets -- suit her well. We're also relieved to see that, at least so far, there are no headdresses involved.
Update: The photos have been removed from the original Instagram account. We'll update once more images become available.
