Pharrell Williams's Latest Fashion Act: A Uniqlo Collaboration

How does he do it? In 2014 alone, Pharrell Williams has won a bunch of Grammys, gotten nominated for an Oscar, created the longest-lasting fashion meme maybe ever, raised $41,000 for charity from Arby's, released an album, and apparently designed a line of t-shirts and hats for Uniqlo, for whom he also shot an ad campaign.

And chances are he's done a dozen other cool things we don't even know about yet. But back to Uniqlo: he's been tapped as a spokesperson and collaborator for "The New Model T" collection for Uniqlo UT, the brand's T-shirt line conceived by creative director (and former A Bathing Ape designer) Nigo.

In addition to starring in the spring print campaign (alongside Barbara Palvin) and a commercial (featuring one of his new songs), Pharrell's "I am Other" creative collective collaborated on a range of men's and women's t-shirts and caps, which will be available in mid-April.

The collaboration makes sense now that Nigo is at Uniqlo. He helped design Pharrell's streetwear brands Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream Footwear.
