You've probably had Blondie's late '70s hit "Heart of Glass" stuck in your head at least once in the past few weeks thanks to Miranda Kerr's popular spring H&M commercial, which is set to the catchy tune (and seems to be on TV once an hour). But wouldn't the song be even better if a supermodel was singing it? Well, H&M thought so, too.
As first reported by WWD, Gisele Bündchen is starring in H&M's summer campaign, modeling a combination of swimwear and the brand's bohemian ready-to-wear for photographer Lachlan Bailey. But that's not all! Much like the model's fall campaign for the Swedish retail giant, for which she recorded a version of "All Day And All Of The Night" by The Kinks, Bündchen headed back into the studio for summer. Together with renowned French house music DJ Bob Sinclair, she'll release her own version of "Heart of Glass" for the TV spots.
Both the campaign will be released in May, and Bündchen's take on Blondie's hit will be available for download.
