Kate Middleton Wears Dainty Zimmermann for a Nice Beach Stroll

Which got us thinking: What other cool Aussie labels should she wear during her trip?

The Duchess of Cambridge is nothing if not thoughtful about her outfit choices, often picking items that have a contextual relevance to the event she's at or country she's in.

In one of our favorite examples of this so far, the Duchess chose a very cute white laser-cut dress by cool Aussie label Zimmermann. It's the Romer Day Dress, which will retail for $520 when it hits stores in June, the company confirmed to us.

She accessorized the white dress with a nude LK Bennett clutch and Stuart Weitzman espadrille wedges, also nude.

The demure look proved quite versatile for the Duchess, who wore it to do everything from attending the annual Sydney Royal Easter Show, to petting a merino wool ram, to visiting a children's hospice, to hanging out at the beach, where she chatted with swimmers and even had a "Baywatch" moment (see below). We assume she also ate at some point, and didn't even spill anything!

The dress also got us thinking about what other cool Australian labels we hope the Duchess wears during the remainder of this trip. Might we offer some suggestions? She'd look adorable in this skirt and this blouse by Lover. Here's something structured and polished by Dion Lee. She could also have a truly lovely pink moment in this frock by Ellery. Just saying.
