Though their collections may vary widely each season, many of the world's most famous fashion designers have a fairly simple uniform.
For Michael Kors, it's a tight black t-shirt, a blazer and some aviators. For Karl Lagerfeld, it's a suit with a crisp, high-necked white collared shirt and tie—but feel free to throw in some diamond necklaces or leather driving gloves. And for Carolina Herrera, it's some variation on a solid button-down shirt and a feminine, full skirt, which is as timeless and elegant as her seasonal collections.
This week, two of Hollywood's leading ladies just so happened to channel Ms. Herrera in their outings. A tipster sent us the above photos of Emma Watson and Marisa Tomei, both dressed like the designer to a T.
Tomei, shown left, is wearing a full look from the Tod’s Spring 2014 collection, which is almost identical in color and proportion to Herrera's signature style. Similarly, Watson took a more youthful approach with her look—her flowy maxi skirt is less structured than what Herrera typically wears. Watson's outfit was made by Ralph Lauren for the Royal Marsden dinner with Prince William.
Herrera is truly a style icon for the ages, and hers is a look that can't really go wrong. Which of the actresses do you think makes a better Carolina Herrera mini-me?
