Hermès Puts On A Circus, Céline to Show in Beijing, Stuart Weitzman's New Ecommerce Move

And Lana Del Rey is performing at the Kimye wedding.

Hermès put on quite a circus — literally — last night on Wall Street. The special runway show, dinner and carnival showcased the brand's full range of offerings, from swimwear to fragrance and leather goods. If that seems over the top, well, that was the whole point. {New York Times}

Burberry, Michael Kors, Balenciaga...and now Céline. On Thursday, the French fashion house will be the latest to stage a runway show in China — Beijing, specifically — in hopes of further cementing itself in the country, which is now one of the brand's top five markets. {WWD}

Stuart Weitzman is hoping to drive its e-commerce business with a new Rent the Runway deal stipulating that it be the only shoe brand featured in outfit images on the dress rental service's site. While Rent the Runway may lease designer dresses at a price point south of $100, the goal from Weitzman's perspective is to push its own full-price sales via links. {Luxury Daily}
